First start

From download to scanning

Takes about five minutes the first time, most of it waiting for your license file.

  1. Open the download

    Save the file anywhere, for example your Desktop or a tools folder, and double-click it. It runs straight from the file; nothing gets installed.

  2. Let Windows run it

    The beta isn't code-signed yet, so Windows shows a blue warning the first time.

  3. Enter your product key

    Accept the notice, type the key from your email, for example JPF-7K2QD-M9XHT-4RZ8W, and click Offline activation.

  4. Send the request, import the license

    Click Save as file and email that file to [email protected]. You'll get a license file back. Click Import license file and choose it.

Firewall

Allow it once

The first BACnet scan makes Windows Firewall ask about network access. Choose Allow, or the program can't hear devices answer on UDP 47808.

Company PCs

If IT blocks it

Some antivirus tools stop unsigned programs. Ask IT to allow the file. They can check it against the SHA-256 on this page.
